What's your opinion on nudity?

You said not to quote the bible but I'm not exactly quoting the bible when I say that Adam and Eve blew it when they discovered fig leaves.  I used to work as a security guard at a nudist colony.  I enjoyed my job because I see nothing wrong with nudity.  There is nothing wrong with the human body.  I am not some s*x crazed wierdo or anything.  When I worked at the nudist colony families were there and they explained about the human body to their children and it wasn't like orgies on Friday nights or anything.

I really dont see it as being a big deal for someone to be nude in public .. you can certainly tell if he/she is carrying a weapon!  to me they are the least of our worries in this country or any other for that matter .. ppl tend to be too uptight over the most natural things

I don't want to see your body parts.  If I didn't marry you or pay you for say a lap dance then I don't want to see you.  It is one thing to have clothes that make you think you know what a person looks like it is a worse thing to wear nothing and make sure everyone knows what you look like.  If I ever see a streaker I think I would let the law handle it.

Why is it such a sensitive topic? I don't think it is such a big deal! Here in my hometown a couple years ago, there was this guy streaking and the cops tazed him to death. They said that he was hopped up on meth or something but that doesn't mean he was dangerous or hurting anyone, he was actually more vulnerable being naked! And he was killed just because people were uncomfortable and scared and they didn't want to find another way to stop him.

in terms of public nudity.. there are some things that people just dont want to see unless they choose to. Forcing someone to see a 300 lb woman or man naked in public just isn't right. Do you really want puke covering the streets?

We are humans, not animals, we have learned to be civil and wear clothes.

I think that public nudity isn't too bad an idea in theory, but there should be some situational guidelines that should be agreed on.  For example, nudism should remain prohibited in restaurants and grocery stores for hygeine purposes as well as esthetic compromise.  Otherwise we'd end up in the situation of attampting to salvage an appetite at a restaurant while being forced to dine in close proximity to a naked a-- that with my luck would be attatched to a morbidly obese nudist with very limited ability to wash properly.

i LOVE being nude at home. sometimes I worry I might get too comfortable and accidentally walk out of my apartment naked, for all the neighbors to see. I'm sure if society in the US were desensitized to nudity, it wouldn't be such an issue. I know that if I went somewhere where nudity was common, I would be in shock & trying not to stare for a while but I know I would get used to it.
