I was wondering if i should take my eagles flag to the derby this weekend (it's 1 metre by like 60 cm) do flags annoy people and block your view, do you not mind unless it's your team... anyway what's your thoughts on people waving flags.

  1. just stand up and wave it, unlike someone who decided to sit next to me and wave the flag while sitting down. dumb-***... kept hitting me in the face. i was ready to turn 'round and give him a hit

  2. Yeah what 'smash' said,   i think it's fantastic to see all the flags after a goal,  but all other times just keep it down i reckon,   take the flag and go off tap,   you might win this week, might!

  3. Who cares about the poeple around you... As long as your surporting your team... Why wouldn't you bring a flag to surport your team.

  4. its excellent but annoying, but take it to derby, the bigger the better honey

  5. nah there mad sharna

and I NOE U EAGLES MISS JUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDY BUT USE JUST CANT ADMIT IT

  6. I would not bother bringing it for 2 reasons!

    1. Its big so when you wave it, it does block peoples views and that does annoy people!

    2. Eagles are gonna lose so you will have to go home in shame waving that flag :)

    GO FREO!! :)

  7. Why not! If you're paying to go to the game, you have a right to wave your flag! As long as you don't wave it constantly and, you are considerate of others, go for it!

  8. I would be very annoyed if you were sitting in front of me waving that flag....considering the price of tickets these days, you want to be able to actually SEE the match and get your moneys worth (although it is WCE vs FREO...so ummm - dont think it would be that exciting for me personally)!

Probably best you sit with the cheer squad, they have heaps of large flags and banners and noone seems to mind

  9. Sure, take it. Just don;t be one of those people who wave it after EVERY good thing the team does. Just wave it when appropriate, like after goals and stuff

  10. If I took a flag to the footy, I'd be very worried that I might flick somebody in the eye with it. Bit of a worry?

  11. Since you are going to be very careful that you don't hit anyone with it, and wave it only when appropriate, why not take your flag to the derby?

I sit amongst members of my club and all the kids have flags bigger than they are, but they know to flap them only when we get a goal or at the end of a quarter or whatever.

Mind you, waving a coat is a different thing....I barrack for the bombers!
