Question:

What's your opinion on the play Equus?

I'm thinking about going to New York City in October primarily for a concert, but while I'm down there, I'm thinking about going to see the play Equus which will be on Broadway starting in late September.

Equus is a bit pricey, so I want to know if it's worth seeing. Any input? (Besides likes/loves/dislikes/hate for Daniel Radcliffe)

And I'll take anything, Equus has had many productions put on, though the newest production would be very helpful, I'll take new and old opinions, good and bad.

  1. Equus is a powerful drama in which the playwright continues his examination of man's relationship to God. In this play a teen boy makes horses his god, and when he sins in front of them, he blinds them so they can no longer see his transgressions. Brief male nudity.
