What's your opinion on younger girls dating older guys?

The ages I meant are like girls ages 13-17 dating guys 20-30.

Most guys my age aren't at the same maturity level that I am that's why I love the guy I'm with now.

I'm 16 gonna be 17 next month and I'm dating a 20 year old who is gonna be 21 next month.

i would say it is normal, but just be careful, if you have s*x or get preg, he goes to jail, the first person commenting is right. if the cops get involved you will have no say if your parents or his get involved

well i am 15 dating a 17 year old (but we're actually only 1 year, 4 months apart. He just turned 17 two weeks ago and I'll be 16 in 3 1/2 months.)

but anyways, i agree with the maturity part COMPLETELY.

as for 4 years age difference, if your parents are okay with it id say you're okay. BUT, do not have s*x with him! even if you trust him, are completely in love with him, etc. - if anyone ever finds out he's going to jail.

They are lots of older people who are super cool with it so i dont see what other peoples problems are. But if you were 13-15 dating a 19-30 thats weird.

You shouldnt put 13 and 17 in the same group there is such a hige diffrence in age and maturety

Girl what are you thinking. You can get into alot of trouble for that. But on the other hand if he hurts you like physicly you can charge him and he will go away for a while. So you better think about dating someone your own age till you get older where the law can not be involved. I should know I am 28 amd dating a 52 yr old. So wait till you are old enough so you don't get in trouble.

Why group someone who's 17 with someone whos thirteen? There is a LARGE difference between a 17-year-old dating a 20-year-old than a 13-year-old dating a 20-year-old. There is a chance that the first could have a good relationship and be happy. The thirteen-year-old is being used and there is obviously something wrong with the man that is trying to get with her. I once had a man tell me "If I love that 13 yr old im going to be with THAT 13yr old." He was 23, college drop out, and a stoner.

If that's the kind of guy that girl wants, let her wait a few years and see when people get more interested in her what type she really likes. When shes 17-18 if she wants to hit up that stoner that's her funeral. But at thirteen she just doesn't realize he's a loser.

And NO, you are NOT an idiot and he cannot get "thrown in jail" for dating you. Infact, depending on the state in which you live the relationship is pefectly legal sexually. See what I mean? That girl who called you an idiot was thirteen-years-old.

I don't really approve much of age difference at that age. Once you get older 4, 5, 6 h**l even 8 or 9 years is much of a difference. But, believe it or not, in your teen years it really is. Now, a 17 yo and a 20 yo. I don't see much wrong with that, because 17 is almost an "adult". But, 13 and 20 is just plain wrong.. That's a child really and a grown man.

Parents are generally protective about this because there's A LOT of men who like to take advantage of teen girls, whether they realize it or not.

So I'm a 19 yr old girl and my boyfriend is 25. I have Always dated older guys (when I was 16 I dated an 18 yr old, and when I was 17 I dated a 20 yr old). There's a formula that I've used (my mom and aunt taught it to me) to decide whether or not their "too old" for me. Take his age, divide it by 2, then add 7. That number is the age of the youngest girl he should be dating....

Soooo... 20/2 = 10 +7 = 17.

Its not perfect, but you also gotta remember when he turn's 21 he's going to be going to clubs and bars that you can't get into and chances are he's going to be getting drunk and meeting girls at these places.
