  1. 1640 isn't TOO terrible. Not many Canadians take the SAT. Trust me, before I moved to California, I didn't even know what it was. For you, I'd suggest going to an SAT prep tutor/academy. Or even take the ACT, which is more based on classroom material (unfortunately American). Most schools accept either test.

  2. My secret is studying with the right books. I recommend Princeton Review and Tutorfox new SAT guide, http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html

With both books I improved my score from 1660 to 2120 in only 2 months of summer. Good luck, and let me know if you need any more help.

  3. I am the same as you. I have a 4.0 but did awful on the SAT's . I got a 1790. Then I took the ACT and got a 30. its so much easier! and if you do bad on it, buy the prep books. I got a 27 the first time and raised it 3 points. good luck!

  4. Hire a tutor
