  1. This incident came prior to qualifications on Saturday. Danica was obviously faster than Milka, and come up beside her. There were at least 2, perhaps 3, times where DP had the faster line, had the angle, but Milka cut her off. Now - if this were to have been a race, we'd be talking a different story, but this was practice, and the risks of cutting someone off far outweighed the gains.

Regarding Milka: She's slow. She's a moving chicane, and may get warned again regarding her slow progress in the IndyCar Series. She desperately needs experience, and I wouldn't be surprised if her team gives her the option of going down to the development league (Firestone Indy Lights). She may get forced down there if she's not improving much by season's end.

Regarding Danica: Look, love her or hate her, you can't ignore her drive, her passion, her daringness. After seeing replays of the cut-offs, I think Danica was in the right to talk to Milka. However, I don't think she should have gone down to her pit stall and confront her in front of her entire team. Had she handled it better (ie, in the paddock after practice or during the driver's meeting), I think everyone would have seen the situation handled more diplomatically and, ahem, lady like. Besides, it's now quoted in the IndyStar.com that Danica has never had a conversation with Milka before (which I find odd, but not shocking).

  2. Danica is at fault.  She needs to stop being a baby and needs to just shut up.  She has a history of being like this.  She is a major drama queen that just wants attention.  She went over there to talk c**p to Milka and did not expect Milka to stand up for herself.  I am glad she did.  It was funny to see how Danica just backed off when Milka wasn't having any of it.  She sounded like a whining baby.  She went over there to trying to be a diva b--tch and got punked by Milka.  haha

  3. I think what the IRL should do is what F1 did some years back. Make it mandatory that the qualification speed must be within the 107% of the highest qualifier or you can't race.

With that rule, there would be fewer cars in the race, but it would be closer.

The split practice groups are OK but there should be a break as for as the last race qualifying speed. That would keep the groups closer as far as speed and they wouldn't be adanger to the faster cars.

  4. Milka was wrong for even going out on the track and Danica's attempt to handle the situation was a bit childish.

Danica needs to drop the F--bomb on Brian Barnhart.

MIlka's a real threat to the well being of the other drivers.

Barnhart needs to shut her down. and then he needs to tell  Danica to grow up and to shut her mouth.

  5. Danica is hot!  Ok...that being said, I think they were both wrong.  First, Danica was being childish to start the confrontation with a rookie driver.  She should have had someone from her team tell some from Milka's team about etiquette on the track, IF any etiquette was violated.  Milka is the rookie, so you have to give Milka a chance.

Milka shouldn't be throwing towels and should have taken the high road.  Two wrongs never make a right.

  6. I think they both did something wrong.  Milka should not have been racing Danica like that during a practice, and Danica should have cooled off, and she and Milka could have an adult conversation.
