Question:

What's your take on the number of swimming world records being broken?

To me, it's not legit. With that suit and the depth of the pool built deeper, I think that these records should be separated somehow because past records were not done in the same playing field.

  1. yeah, i think the depth thing is a bit preposterous. but as far as the suits go, it does take off some time but it's not seconds. it would be one thing if the records were barely being beaten, but they're being smashed. i'd owe it to specific training and lifestyle. up until recently, a swimmer couldn't really afford to swim for a career. these guys get paid lots of money to do it, so they can afford to be in the water every day.
