  1. WTF?!? Why are they replaying Monday's show?? You can't seriously tell me that they're censoring themselves and they're not even going to replay the show. This is a serious Jump the Shark moment. The end is near.

  2. I listened to it yesterday when he was asleep and I couldn't believe they tolerated it and joked about it like they did. I didn't hear it today though what happened did he actual get a serious lecture about his behavior?

  3. we all know artie was a ticking bomb waiting to explode.  i agree to some extent that howard pushes the bar with artie but i dont think anyone knows how bad of shape artie is really in.  they talk about it on the show and they joke about it alot, but i think artie is in real bad shape and needs to get better.  whether it means to seek mental help or quit the show, the fact of the matter is that his crazy talk as of late and his behavior is in almost a way - a cry for help.  he is going down a path very few choose to follow and very few return.  i believe this was a wake up call for howard and i think howard is a good guy and will deal with Artie.  I know Artie loves the show but he is also fed up with the hours.  Artie needs to stop complaining about the hours, stop eating, stop drinking, stopo doing drugs and see a psychiatrist.  this is not howard's fault - artie is a man and should act like an adult.

Here are some updates from Mark Mercer. Apparently today's show may never be aired again. EVER.

  5. It's amazing to me how Howard refuses to take any responsibilty with what happened this morning.  True, Artie is a grown man,and I'm not necessarily blaming Howard for Artie's actions.  But Howard is supposed to be the voice of reason on the show and with all his so-called psychological knowledge, he's an idiot if he didn't see it coming.  I think I can speak for most listeners and fans to say that we ALL SAW IT COMING!!!

Come on, Howard you're lying to yourself about your involvement with this Artie issue.  I don't even know why you had to bring in Dr Ablow for the session with High Pitch Mike.  You clearly egg on the fights, poking and prodding at Artie every chance you get.  What the **** did you expect?

It's like the circus performers who train the lions and then get all *** hurt when the lion attacks.

As for everyone else on the show, claiming that they don't know what to do and that they're worried about Artie.  HAVE AN INTERVENTION!

Do if off the air, no Howard 100 News, no mention of it for the show.  Get his family, Dana and friends to all talk with him.  Give him the ultimatum that he can't go on like this and that you cannot keep supporting this behavior.

What's so hard about that?  It doesn't take genius to figure this out.  Artie is looking for sincerity and clearly that's not possible with the cameras and microphones rolling.

Howard considers himself a bro?  What a joke.  A bro does these things in private. He is clearly co-dependent on Artie's sickness.  It is in the best interest of the show to keep Artie a mess.

Howard has even said it himself, he loves watching "train-wrecks" on reality shows.  He's fascinated by out-of-control people and loves to watch them.  Well, he's got Artie there to fulfill his perverted pleasure.

    What a d**k.

Howard I love you and I'm a true loyal fan.  But you gotta call a spade a spade, dude.  You're perverse for keeping this charade going on.

Hope it all works out.  If you truly care about Artie, do it off the air.

  6. I cannot believe they are not replaying the show.  I heard it on the West Coast Feed this a.m. and couldn't believe what happened!

I love Artie but I believe he is having a nervous breakdown or is seriously back on drugs.  Between yesterday and today, the guy is totally self-destructive and out of control.

We will have to wait until they come back from vac. to hear what will happen.  Is he gone for good or will this all blow over?

Artie has got to be the most self-sabotaging individual ever.

So sad, because he is such a comedic talent, but obviously a tortured soul.

  7. Well, I heard about it on the wrap up show, and was interested to hear the replay show, but it is replaying MONDAY'S show?????  Is this because of the fight??

  8. I've been listening for well over twenty years, and I've never heard anything like that before.  Artie is the best thing that ever happened to that show, but he's really got to get himself together.

I laugh along with everybody else when he eats himself into a sugar coma, but that guy has real problems.  I think he needs to take some time off and get healthy.

The road goes both ways, too.  He's done a lot for the show, but if he's really leaving, I'm pretty sure the fans' loyalty is going to be to the show.  F-Jackie will become F-artie.
