I have high school diploma. I don't know what I want to be yet...

How do I do that is better?

  1. Have you taken the SAT?

I would definitely try to get into a 4 year university. Work your way up, make the grades, and if you like transfer somewhere to attain a degree with more prestige. If money is an issue, try to applly for financial aid and try to make yourself more competitive for scholarships by getting good grades.

  2. If you have the money for college do that, otherwise join the military.

  3. There both really good decisions, im in almost the same situation except i dont need a green card, I decided to join the air force, do research on military to see if its best for you. If its not then go to college but either way you cant go wrong.

  4. Why not do both? I've been in the Air Force for five years, earned my bachelors degree and have started on my MBA. And I'm only 23. You can do both and the military pays just fine.

Besides, if you do not have money for college, the military will give you the GI BILL and pay for your schooling while you are in and when you get out.

If you have problems speaking English well, you may have troubles during college. The military will send you to English Speaking classes for free. You may have problems getting into the Air Force or Navy if you don't speak English fluently, but the Army has an excellent English Language program. My husband is in the Army and I honestly believe it is the best branch to go into.

So...college that you can't afford when you can barely speak english?

Or joining the military, free english speaking classes, a steady paycheck starting at about $1500-$2000 a month, plus free schooling while you are in and the GI BILL when you get out. Oh yeah, and if you are in for two years, you get US Citizenship.

    I would join the military.
