2. Larry Bird. Flawless game. Good defender, but not elite. That's why he's not #1.

3. Bob Cousy. Practically invented open court basketball. Most innovative point guard ever.

4. John Havlicek. Greatest scorer in Celtics history. One of the best defenders of his time.

5. Kevin Garnett. Only one season so far, but this based on anyone who's been with the Celtics. Amazing defender.

1. Bill Russell-Hands down w/out a doubt.....11 Rings!

2.Larry Bird- but if you put Larry at 2 It should be w/McHale and the Chief Robert Parish. They were great but by playing together that's what made them legends. I don't Larry would have been the winner he was w/out them. He'd be the first person to tell you that.PLus McHale gets up there for making that KG trade happen. Guarantee he wouldn't have made that trade if he hadn't played for the Celts.

3.Kevin Garnett-I don't think there have been too many guys to put on the green and play with the passion and intensity that he has played with.

4 and 5 are hard because there are so many players that can go there. JoJo White, Nate Archibald, Dennis Johnson, John Havlicek, Cedric Maxwell, K.C. Jones, and everyones boy Big Bad Tommy H. The Celts are a franchise that have been blessed with so much talent and that has gotten them the 17 banners. You also have talent that died young like Lewis and Byars.

This is MY favorite 5, not who I think were the greatest Celtics of All-time

1. Dominique Wilkins - My favorite player of all-time, didn't play with the Celtics that long,led them in scoring 94-95 season, he is also the 9th ALL-TIME in scoring among ALL NBA players past and present.

2. Larry Bird - One of my Favorite player's to watch growing up, easily Top 5 All-Time

3. Gary Payton - The Glove, one of my favorite PG of All-time

5. Ray Allen - Favorite Current Celtic, plays hard and get's little shine for his game, for his entire career...
