What's with all the big man these days?Dwight Howard,Yao Ming,Chris Bosh,Kevin Garnett,Tim Duncan,Amare Stoudemire.

Yup,that's all we've got these days.

Back in the days, there were dominating centers literally every where.

Anyway,enough rubbish,here's my list.

1.Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

2.Wilt Chamberlain

3.Tim Duncan (you heard me,Russell might have 11 rings, but you don't see a lot of reporters rank him higher than Chamberlain or Jabbar.)

4.Bill Russell

5.Shaquille O'Neal

10 ANSWERS

  1. I like ur list but i would replace shaq with Hakeem.

  2. 1. jabbar or hakim the dream at number one.

    2.Wilt Chamberlain-most dominant ever

3.Duncan- 4 rings, no superstars, game adjusts on the fly

4.Oneal-great center and scorer but never had to go against others in his prime, except for when hakim did him in the playoff's

    5. Russel-great defender and power player but he lacked offense

  3. PF's....

1.) Tim Duncan - Has an incredible will to winn, 4 championships, 3 Final MVP's, 2x MVP, and does it all very quietly w/o media attention

2.) Kevin Garnett - The Kid w/ his newly acquired ring has passed the likes of Charles Barkley and Karl Malone. Malone may be 2nd on alltime NBA scoring list after Kareem. But, I have an inkling KG an MVP winner like Charles and Karl would pass them. And KG made an impact out of high school before it was normal for HS players to come in the league he did it and was great off the bat.

3.) Karl Malone - Great defender, scorer, rebounder, MVP, too bad the Jazz never won a ring

4.) Charles Barkley - Probably most skilled of the PF's cause he was short and played the position great. He is an MVP winner and a great player. But, like Malone no ring.

5.) Elvin Hayes - 1x NBA Champion, 12x NBA All-star, Great versatile player.

    C...

1.) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - Tied in Alltime PPG w/ MJ, Leds NBA in alltime points, 6x NBA Champ w/ Milwaukee & LA, 19x NBA Allstar, 2X Final MVP, 6X NBA MVP.

2.) Wilt Chamberlain - The records this man broke are truly incredible, 100 points in one game. And contrary to what people say that he played with midgets. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Wes Unseld are far from midgets. 2x NBA Champ, 4x NBA MVP, 2X Defensive 1st

3.) Bill Russell - 11x NBA Champion = truly incredible, great defender, all right scoring game, 5x NBA MVP

4.) Shaquille O'Neal - The most dominant player in NBA history. In his heyday he was an immovable force. 4x NBA Champion, 2x MVP, 14X Allstar

5.) Hakeem Olajuwon - Slightly edges out Patrick Ewing and David Robinson because Ewing had no ships and Robinson when he won his 2 ships was on the decline and not the great center he was when he was younger. Also Hakeem Olajuwon is the most talented center of alltime he had an array of post moves as well as midrange moves. He was deceptive and is the only guy who can say beat Shaq in the Finals during Shaq's dominant days. 2x NBA Champ, 1x NBA MVP, 12X NBA Allstar, 2x NBA First Defense

  4. 1 Shaq,  Wilt could not hold his jock strap

2 Bob Guisenberg find out what he did and against who

3 Dirk would have 8 titles if he had Duncans 12 helpers

    4 Kareem enough said

5 Sigma Just because everyone forgot.

  5. i like your list, but i would have to go with russell at the 3.

  6. 1.) Tim Duncan

    2.) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

    3.) Shaquille O'neal

    4.) Bill Russell

    5.) Kevin Garnett

Wilt is not on my list because if you put him on this era, he would be another Kwame Brown.

  7. 1. CB4

    2. STAT

    3. Timmy D

    4. Shaq

    5. KG

  8. 1. Wilt Chamberlain - i don't care what you say about him

    2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

    3. Hakeem Olajuwon

    4. Shaquille O'Neal

    5. Tim Duncan

It all depends on their talent .. not Championships ...

Person Below me you don't know what you talking ...

D-Rock  - How did he become Team Player ?

He still averaged 23.4 FGA per game .. even after he got Pippen ...

and When he got Pippen thats where he started winning Championship ..

  9. Yeah i agree wit your list except 4 da Duncan infront of Russel thing. Ok wat bout da reporters....its YOUR list/opinion. Yes rings kinda do matter.

    Kareem

    Chamberlain

    Russell

    Duncan

    Shaquille

    EDIT:

Wtf how is he a Kwame Brown....do u hear wat ur saying??? Wilt is 1 of da most talented and stronger C's in his day. Kwame was just a bust. So wat u said made no sense.

2 da other guy...naw dat doesent make Russel a D-leager. Russsell was Wilts Toughest Enemy. Ok so he didnt score as much as Wilt sooooo.....Dat wasnt his specialty. he was known as a Great shot blocker/Roubounder.

  10. Im gonna list them in order

#1 Shaq- Just too dominate not to be No.1

#2.. Either Wilt or Kareem... Kareem played a team game, wilt played for stats and records.... so Im gonna say Kareem

#3...Wilt - Although he was a ballhog, You cant deny his talent...

#4.. Duncan - Duncan just knows how to win, and is a great player too.. He has weaknesses, but he's good at covering them up and of letting anyone take advantage of them

#5. Bill Russell - Russell won too many championships for me to leave him off this list, and he was the only person who was really challenging Chamberlain for most of their careers

I hate leaving Hakeem off, but I cant replace Bill Russell with him... and Russel was very talented and team-oriented as well... Best defensive player of all time remember
