  1. Assuming that a) I have access to every denomination of coin every minted, and b) I'm dumb enough to treat them as if their stated value is their actual worth (despite the fact that most of these would be worth much more as they haven't been minted in over a century), there are three options:

    1. one 5c piece and three 2c pieces.

    2. three 3c pieces and one 2c piece

    3. two 5c pieces and two half-cent pieces

  2. 3 - 2 cent coins

    1- nickel

  3. its impossible. you cant make 11 cents with 4 US coins

  4. Two nickels, a penny and a Susan B. Anthony dollar.

The Susan B's are pretty worthless; you will never spend it; it will just sit in your top dresser drawer, so "de facto" I'm only giving you 11 cents.

    ... I guess.

  5. impossible?

  6. Just either a dime or 2 nickels (10 cents) change....since the price of everything is going up, you get less change back!

  7. A nickel (5 cents) and 3 2-cent coins (1864 minted).

That would also be dumb because the 2-cent coin is worth a couple hundred dollars.

  8. if we have 11 cents, then we can make changes with one 10-cent coin and one 1-cent coin, two 5-cent coins and one 1-cent coin, one 5-cent coin and six 1-cent coins, or eleven 1-cent coins. So there are four ways of making changes for 11 cents with the above coins. (alas no 4 coins will make 11 cents.)
