What 4 grades does a merit in ICT BTEC mean?

My teacher told me that it was AABB but i am not sure!

    pass=C

    merit=B

    distinction=A

    distinction*= a*

    the AABB is the indiidual grades that you got like in each section the overall grade is a merit which is a B

    your teacher would have marked your wr and therefore given you a distinction however your work has to be sent off to the moderators and therefor your teacher may have marked it to high and had to lower it. if ur not sure fone the school and also the bord who you did it with which is normaly edexcel with IT

    the seven sections are only really 4 units if u get that i did about 8 case study sections and i only have 4 gcses in it u have to do more sections to one of the sections weird i no lol
