I got my GCSE results today, and I need to choose the courses I would like to take for my A-Levels in a few days, so I was wondering if soneone could tell me what A-Levels are required to study Paediatrics at university. I'd like to know the subjects required, and what grade is generally needed for each subject. Any additional information would also be great.

Thanks in advance.

  1. you don't study paediatrics at uni. You study medicine, become a Dr and then train in hospitals.

you will need three grade A A Levels, at least one in a science and or maths. And the others need to be traditional subjects, media studies would get you nowhere.

  2. You'll need four A-levels to get into a medicine course, and high grades. Either all A's, or similar offers for medicine courses usually include AAAB, or AABB

Biology and Chemistry are a must. Then you need two others, subjects like maths, psychology, etc, and related things are what you want to look at.
