What A-levels do I need to take for a career in zoology??

I am trying to decide what A-levels to do in college and I would like a career in zoology!

I need some advice on what subjects to take and maybe some feedback on my career choice.

Biology almost certainly, Chemistry or Physics could help but a humanities subject would not be frowned apon.

In terms of languages I'm thinking "Latin" may help a little but you wouldn't need an A Level

As for the life of a zoologist, well like most sciences it's a multidisciplinary field and the subject at university will give you information on these various types. Some are more Natural History orientated some are directed to modern ecology problems.

Biology, Physics, Geography or Geology are probably the essentials. Things like History and Human Biology are good ones to have as well. Ask a teacher who teaches these subjects at your school or ask someone who gives career advice. Theres normally meetings held in secondary schools with you and your parent in which the person who gives career advice talks to you about it. Good luck =)
