What AFL ground do you think has the best siren?

All the AFL grounds seem to have different sirens....

Personally, I dont know why but I like the siren at Telstra Dome....It must be the echo of it when the roof is closed :P

Ive never been to a game actually *sniff sniff*. I think maybe when I was 7 I went to a derby but thats it. Or maybe that was a dream. anyway Id go but there are never any seats at WC games and th membership waiting list is too long so I wouldnt know.

Oh and as for other stadiums...I havent been outside of the Sydney airport before. Only went to Sydney on the way to NZ

Agree with you about the dome, I went to a real close game there and the noise, siren, everything was deafening. But I love the G, and have actually seen the Tigers win there a few times....so thats my favorite.......nice to sing your clubs song after that siren sounds, especially when its TIGERLAND

everytime i hear it it sends shivers up my spine and it makes me really excited for the game..... even when i hear it on the tv  it makes me excited and it makes me feel like im actually at the game........... wierd i no

The one down at Kardinia Park, oops I mean Shell, oops I mean Skilled stadium, of course.  It signals pub time.

But it does sound too much like the horns from the ships in Corio Bay.  I'm waiting for one loud ship to blow full time one day.  Wonder if Freo have the same problem?!

I hated the one at St Kilda's ground Moorabbin, part of our "Grounds keeping" job was to test it during the week, and if it was misbehaving we had to climb onto the roof of the grandstand get on our stomachs and move slowly forward over the edge of the grandstand undo the bolts and take it down to be fixed.

I tell you it was a fair drop from the top of those stands.
