What player(s) do you recon would create fun and enable viewers to enjoy the show more?

I think that Quinten Lynch from the west coast eagles would be an absolute ripper, he could stir up sam and he would really lighten up the show

  1. Anyone but Dale Thomas. He freezes & can only mumble & stutter when the camera is pointed at him..

Dean Cox - he is great in front of a camera. He has a sense of humour, oozes confidence & actually does talk sense (a rare trait in AFL footballers).

Other than that I would like to see the practice introduced wherby, when a young player is nominated for thr Rising Star award, he appears as a guest on the Footy Show. The fans could then get a bit of insight of these new young-bloods.

  2. Look, it's not how good a footballer the guy is, it's how well he thinks and expresses himself that counts.

Witness Welsh of the Bombers three weeks back: he is a good tradesman footballer but he sparkled and yes, stirred Sam witless, on the panel.

I would also like to see the Bombers stalwarts David Hille and Dustin Fletcher, both out injured, and both not short of a word or two, to give an opinion.

    Adam Simpson of the Kangas.

Keep Nathan Brown of the Tiges and add Leon Davis of the Maggies, or even the disgraced Messrs Shaw and Didak, they can develop their footy skills while they can't play. That also means there will be no curfew on them!

    Leon Barry of the Swans.

    Bring back Jonathan Brown!

Dean Cox of the Wussies, who drove Sam mad. And made a few good comments.

    Pavlich and Van Berlo.

    Mitchell of the 'awks.

Put me in charge of recruitment, Footy Show!

  3. brent staker, barry hall and adam hunter

  4. Aker, nathan brown and crawf all r vocal and funny but crawf is fantastic , they all luv stirring sammy up

also barry hall owes sammy newman a few punches

  5. I would love to see a panel made up of Shane Crawford, Brendon Fevola & Jason Dunstall as that would send Sam absolutely bonkers!! (and maybe bring Dougie Hawkins back for special comments!! Where is Dougie now??)

Great question though!! Just can't think of any new blood

  6. I'd love to see my idol, Robert Harvey on there.

And I'd like to see what Matthew Stokes (Geelong) is like, and Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle).

Also, as a St Kilda supporter, having Leigh Montagna, Justin Kositscke amongst others would be good.

But I would like to have the one and only Richo interviewed. A contender for the brown low had gotta be up there!

  7. I agree with you Lynch Would be Good on there.

And I know it all started as VFL but that was 150 years ago and They need more Non-victorian players because it kinda gets boring (no offence)

And I also think Wirra Because they get his name wrong and for some reason it really annoys me.

  8. I think that from the current guests, Crawf is fantastic entertainment when with Sam.

I think that it would be great to see "The Chief" back on the show, so we can see what he does to Sam!

  9. i would like to see a young panel that hasnt been on before like travis cloke, buddy and maybe medhurst maybe i havent seen any of those guys on and would like to. crawf is funny though with sam

  10. Although crawf is funny i would like people other then crawf, thomas (that's dale) or fevola, who are the most often on.  I would like to see views and opinions on any players other from victorian clubs, which can some times get biased. Personally i would also like to see matthew pavlich or david wirrapunda because wirra is such an inspiration to every one, not just the aboriginal community and pavlich is just a legend (& yes i'm still an eagles supporter!)

  11. somebody OUTSIDE OF VICTORIA BESIDES BROWN. that would be a miracle in itself.

  12. Crackers Keenan, Mark Jackson, Warwick Capper and Rex Hunt

  13. Benny Cousins shirtless, RAWR!!

  14. There should be continuous rotation weekly of any players to keep the show fresh. And that means the long and the tall, the stars and the rookies. But it's about ratings folks - who makes the best TV (and who is to judge).

  15. just FIRSTLY TELLING EVERYONE THE OTHER BLUE BOSY IS GONE HIS CRATED ANOTHER ACCONT COZ OF FINACIAL PONITS PROBLEMS AN D ID LOVE TO SEE JUDDDDDDDDDDDY COME ON THE SHOW BUT HE WONT COME HE CAME ON BEFORE THE GAME IF BHE NEVR READS THE FOOTY SECTION IN THE NEWS PAPER IBVIOUSLY HIS NOT GONNA COME OTHER THAN HIM ID LOVE TO SEE PROABLY CAMERON MOONEY

  16. RICHO

  17. G PIES! - No, not Buddy! "What's your tips?" "arhh ummm I think ummm arhh maybe Geelong umm over arhh Fremantle" Not the best talker and is quite shy, would be good for his public speaking though.

I wouldn't mind Matty Boyd or Crossy from the Bulldogs.

  18. Chris Judd or Ben Cousins

  19. Watch the real footy show!!!
