  1. You can submit any of those, although the best option is the voters ID card if you have it with you, with the current address.

For the description, I guess if the jpr address is your permanent address & your family live there........go ahead submit it there !

    OR

If you had to do for the current address, i guess u can open an account with a bank (for which a identifier is required) & then take a letter from the bank.............

    I hope this is helpful..........

  2. since it is three months you cant give ration card, you can produce the driving liscence or the electoral id card

  3. You buy the form, it will have a BLUE guideline sheet attached explaining EVERYTHING.

    or,

You could submit the electricity bill for the apartment you are in. As per rules when I applied for a passport, you have to submit 1+nx2 copies for every address change you have made in the past 1 year. "n" being the no. of places you stayed in the past one year.

    1) So for 1 place in one year, ie, same address for 1+ years, 1+1x2=3 copies of your documents.

    2) Rules might have changed. Check out the MEA website guidelines.

  4. Hai Friend,

u can use anyone of the following..

Your Ration Card, Voter Id, Driving license, Home Landline Bill, EB card, Gas Bill

  5. It is relatively easy to change the old address in the Bank account to the new one.

You can produce the Land Lord agreement, get same certified and present it.

You can get eh address verified by the Local Police Station for the purpose and send it.

You can try to apply for change of address of the Ration Card, Gas connection and produce them.

Ask the Pass Port office to assist you with a solution if all above doesn't work.

  6. hey sorry lady u'r in trouble u have to apply for passport from jaipur u'r old adresss... well u cant do any think from chennai ... u have to understand its not possible .... to get it fom delhi .. if u have not stayed in dehli for more then 1 year....

  7. to get a passport you need proof of address and the only way you can send proof is if you have got your name address on these doc`s like phone bill, utiltiy bill, driving license, things like that it is no use going to the bank they can`t help you send these items so long as they have your name and address on

    good luck

  8. These are the required documents to be used as proof of address :-   Proof of address (attach one of the following):

Applicant’s ration card, certificate from Employer of reputed companies on letter head, water /telephone /electricity bill/statement of running bank account/Income Tax Assessment Order /Election Commission ID card, Gas connection Bill, Spouse’s passport copy, parent’s passport copy in case of minors. (NOTE: If any applicant submits only ration card as proof of address, it should be accompanied by one more proof of address out of the above categories).

In your case you first get the change of address in you already existing bank accounts & then take bank statement with the new local Delhi address on it & use it as the proof of address. It can be any bank not necessary only Government/PSU Indian Banks even Axis, ICICI bank will do. Even if your stay in Delhi is not of one year, still you can apply from here, this the latest rule. You just have to give proof of your period of stay in Delhi & previous address in the application form. Just read this link regarding to remove all doubts >>> http://passport.gov.in/cpv/faq.htm

  9. why dont you give your driving license!!

    or telephone bill if any
