What Age Will Button Quails Start To Breed?

Question

I have a pair or button Quails. At what age will they breed? When will the hen lay her eggs? They are about 6 months old now. When will they breed and have chicks????

generally quail can lay any time after 3 months of age ... but it is different for every hen so yours shouls lay any time now

make sure they are getting a good diet

(eg with grit and plaenty of fresh fruit and veg)

they then start to breed at around a year old .. ao probably around 4 montha before any mating ... goes on but as i said iit is different for each quail ... they are just guidlines and average times.
