What All Do I Need To Start a pond?

Im Starting A Pond and have no clue about, how to do so. I plan to put plenty of small bluegill nd oscar's. Iv'e Seen it on tv. But um yea how so?....nd maybe a few catfish nd thousands of algea eaters.
