What Animal should I get for my friend's birthday??

Question

Her mom said NO to any puppies or kittens, she said it has to be a fish or something like that, but it HAS TO BE AWESOME! !!!Any ideas?????

russian dwarf hamsters they are so awesome! but check with her mom first.

Well pretty much everything you said prety much takes up all the animals except for fish. maybe get her a fighting fish they are easy to take care of and very hardy. or maybe some freshwater fish i would not recommend saltwater since you have to measure the amount of salt carefully but saltwater does have more vibrant colors of fish so just ask her do you like the fish that are colorful like in the corral reefs?

Ever think of a bird? (: I have one and it's soooo awesomeee. It follows me everywhere (flying xD) plus it doesn't bite. I think the tiny birds are the best and their only abut 6 dollars (:

It's not a good idea because your friend might end up not liking the pet you get her...and that wouldn't be good.

well ummm. first of all you shouldn't get someone a pet for a birthday gift, because usually something will go wrong like:the pet turns out to nbe mean or your friend dosn't like it. then also you would have to buy all the supplies.

but if you insist on it, then if it can't be something like a hamster or mouse and it can't be furry then the only other thing really is some kind of fish. i would suggest a SEA HORSE! they are around $20-$30 and they are pretty easy to care for but they are so cool!

or you could get like a pet frog from the petstore, those are cool.

or a some kind of turtle would also be awesome! but they can be more money and boring.

or a hermit crab they are cool. but whatever it is i would buy your friend a book about it too so she can read about how to care for it or them! fish would probably be best if you can't get anything fury!

Why don't you ask her what she wants. Together you could research exactly how to take care of it and you could even take her to a rescue to pick out the one she wants.

get her a small bird with low maintanence but get the cage with the bird and some start off food along with anything else the bird needs. i would suggest a finch
