Imagine low emissions, pratically no traffic jams, Roads covered by a loose layer of dirt and grass, being reclaimed by nature.

You see people riding on the backs of giraffes, ostriches, horses, and many other animals as they go to work in green-buildings.

What kind of animal would you want to take to work instead o a car? how many mpf (miles per feed) would it get?

  1. Well, certainly not horses.

    Quoting from the source below....

"In 1894, the Times of London estimated that by 1950 every street in the city would be buried nine feet deep in horse manure. One New York prognosticator of the 1890s concluded that by 1930 the horse droppings would rise to Manhattan’s third-story windows. A public health and sanitation crisis of almost unimaginable dimensions loomed."

"The horse pollution problem was not a new one. Julius Caesar banned horse-drawn carts from ancient Rome between dawn and dusk in an effort to curb gridlock, noise, accidents, and other unpleasant byproducts of the urban equine."

  2. Who's gonna clean up the mess they make? Yeccchhh.

To answer your question, I'd personally prefer something that can really burn up the road like a cheetah. I have a bad habit of running late, so I need something that can go from 0 to 60 in no time flat.

  3. id hop on a cats back

  4. I drive 260 horses to work every day.

  5. horse and buggy any time

  6. Elephant.  Think of the love puffs it will leave behind.

  7. What low emissions, do you have any idea how much poo a horse lets out, the reason our cities are so clean now is that the internal combustion engine displaced all the horses. Life span in the city was about 15 years shorter then people living in the country mainly because of the animal waste.

Now imagine all that poo, dirt and then add a little rain and think of walking through that, and taking it into your house.

Bad idea, walk or take a bike instead.

  8. Looking for a Genetically Modified bird that can carry me at 90 km/h and take off and land on a dime. I would hope it could get to work on one feeding and home on one, then starve until needed.

p**p on rooftops will be attributed to other users.

  9. Horse - there would still be traffic (as there was before cars existed) but hey, free fertilizer.

    Bike would have less impact
