My children are 6 and 7. My daughter who is 7 has a difficult time with staying on tack, her moods and her ablity to focus on one thing for a period of time. My son who is 6 has a difficult time with his moods as well as conceration. I am looking for vitamins that would work for both of them not only to help with the above but a good all round every day multi vitamin as well. Any suggestions?

  1. First Vita Plus is the natural solution to your active and growing children! It is a vitamin-in-a powdered juice drink to meet the daily requirements of vitamins,minerals,micronutrients,antioxi... and immunity enhancing phytochemicals.

5 Power herbs (moringa, capsicum, corchorus, amaranthus and ipomea) are combined in a unique and exclusive formulation that seals in the natural goodness and nutrition of these herbs minus any artificial ingredients and preservatives. Natural goodness of citrus aurantium also added for a refreshing taste.

One (1) sachet makes one (1) glass or 8oz. equivalent to five(5) servings of vegetables/fruits per minimum daily requirement of our body.

Search the web for these 5 power herbs and you`ll know what I mean.

  2. Pump up their intake of leafy and green vegies and fresh fish such as salmon and tuna ...........  all are rich in calcium which is essential for healthy neural, immune and digestive functioning and of course for healthy growing bones and teeth ..... sufficient calcium and vitamin D in their diets will help to resolve moodiness and irritability, insomnia, achy bones and digestive upsets such as constipation, bloating and cramping and nausea..........  vitamin D is essential for the effective assimilation of calcium and salmon and tuna are rich in vitamin D........  if you can't get them to eat any of these foods then perhaps supplement with a liquid calcium supplement for children and ensure that they get at least 10 - 15 minutes daily of safe sun exposure .....  vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin ...........  both calcium and vitamin D are essential for effective assimilation of the B complex of vitamins.......  the B complex are also essential for healthy neural, immune and digestive functioning and will help resolve moodiness and stress levels and aid in concentration.......... wholegrain breads and cereals and rices, leafy greens and lean red meats are all rich in B vitamins ......... pinpoint any allergies or intolerances to foods which they may have too as many many people find it extremely difficult to digest lactose or wheat ..........  even high sugar fruits such as oranges, bananas, mangoes can play havoc with sensitive digestive systems.........;0)

Please also ensure that whichever supplement you decide to buy doesn't contain any lactose, wheat, yeast, gluten, preservatives or flavorings, sugar or yeast as none of these have any place in a good quality supplement anyways.

Oh, pleasure ensure that they drink loads of fresh filtered water each day too ..............  ditch any sodas and soft drinks as they will only dehydrate them and rob them of their precious B vitamins .....  you'd be amazed at how being just a little dehydrated can affect your mood and energy levels.

  3. If your children are eating a healthy, well balanced diet with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, then they don't need vitamin supplements.  Vitamins are only for deficiency states.  Doses in excess of the RDA have no proven benefit (yes, there is some controversy about the levels of the RDA, and some have been adjusted upwards)

There is no role for "herbs".  While there is voluminous conflicting data on the uses of various herbs in adults, there is  a dearth of evidence on their use in children.  Children are not just small adults, their bodies react differently.  And herbs are NOT always harmless. Please don't experiment on your kids.

Are they getting enough exercise, play time, and a good nights sleep?

Are you taking time to read to them, go over their schoolwork and help them develop good study habits.

Are you monitoring and restricting their computer/TV time?

  4. All natural Vita-Lea Ocean Wonders.  No artificial sweeteners, colors, or fillers.

  5. a good herb for your kids is prunella vulgaris it boost their immune sytem so they rarely ever get sick and you can put it on cuts it helps heal the cut faster

  6. Cod Liver Oil!

Cod Liver Oil is a super food.

Sodium Ascorbate is also very good. It is a form of Vit C. You should take a maintenance dose every day for immune system health.

You may want to try google to find natural ways to make sure they are getting all of their vitamins, natural sources are much better than synthetic.
