Question:

What Are Some (Non-Fatal) Parasites That Can Affect Behavior In Humans

Just something that interests me. I've done a little research but the only parasite I could find was Toxoplasma Gondii. Does anybody know of any other specific ones?

If they kill you I dont really want to hear about them though; those ones do not interest me.

  1. The only other that directly alters behavior I know of is rabies.  Obviously, this one is fatal.

Many parasites cause itching in order to make you release or spread them, but they only do this indirectly through irritation.

There are probably some out there, but quantifying human behavior is difficult.
