  1. they use them to stimulate and tickle each other to mate , getting the female to lift her tail and open up her vent so he can insert one of his two penises

  2. Thats to tell you whether or not its a boy or girl.

  3. They are used to 'grip' their mate during mating and, yes, they do have two p***s's called 'hemi-p***s'.

  4. They are the vestigial remnants of toes at the tips of the legs that snakes used to have, millions of years ago. They are rather common in boas & pythons.

It is not a p***s, and has nothing whatsoever to do with mating or cowboy boots.

  5. They're remnants of it's evolutionary past, when it's ancestors were legged creatures. Quite common in Ball Pythons

  6. Pythons are primitive snakes that have vestigial or leftover pelvic girdles and hind limbs that show up externally as a pair of spurs near the base of the tail around the cloacal area.

Male pythons use these spurs during courtship and mating to stimulate the female and clasp her as they mate.
