  1. i can't remember most of it, but i do kno that hurricanes only form over the sea, and due to high and low pressures. eventually a swirling cyclone is made and moves about, until it reaches land it is called a typhoon ( i think its typhoon, i kno its not a hurricane when its still on the water) but when it does reach land it begins to collapse (after making considerable damage of course).

Thats all i can remember mate, hope i've been of some help

  2. Look up the site at the National Hurricane Center.  It or How it works under Meteorology.

  3. Don't wait until the last minute to do your homework!

  4. Main cause is very low pressure in an area. Low pressure causes the air to rapidly move into that area in order to equalize the pressure difference between it and the surrounding areas. When the air moves in from all directions into a single area or spot, it forms a cyclone or hurricane, sort of like the vortex created by water falling down a sinkhole. This hurricane will remain until the pressure has equalized.
