  1. In a car they should be for emergency use only.  Where I live it is illegal to use a handheld cell phone while driving, and the fine for doing so is quite steep.

  2. It's so dangerous, especially texting. Whenever my friends whip out their cells to text and I'm sitting in the passenger seat, I can't help but cringe. It's so hard not to though because you're so curious over what the text said or who called so you allow yourself to be vulnerable to danger. You just have to be careful I suppose.

  3. I figure the only good reason to use one

while driving is in the case of emergency,

other than that there really is no point unless

your asking to get into a wreck.

  4. There are no pros.  The cons - it is dangerous.  I hadn't had a wreck in 15 years and last year two cell phone yapping fools hit me, both times I was at a complete stop.  They were busy yapping, not paying attention to their driving.  It is dangerous.

  5. They are all cons.....

It is a car NOT a phone booth!

I have almost been in soo many accidents because cell phones.

I have decided not to swerve...your on your cell and not paying attention, Than you can pay for it!

  6. um....dying from a crash!!!!!!

  7. CON

    People having ridiculous conversations.

    CON

    People not focusing.

    CON

People tailgating while talking on a cell phone.

    PRO

    None

  8. PROS = emergency use

    CONS = non-emergency use

  9. to charge dem

  10. pros=hav a conversation and not b bored lol

cons=death frum hittin a cow on the side of the road and swirving into a tree and the tree stops u n u like....crash lmao

  11. con: it's illegal

u gotta stick with one hand for driving, generally

pro: not getting totally lost because somebody is giving you directions

  12. Unless it's an emergency, there are no pros.  And the cons are obvious.  Just look around you and find the driver who's driving most stupidly, and you will invariably find that (s)he is talking on a cell phone.

  13. If u live in NJ the con is a $100 fine for talking on the phone in the car.

  14. Cons:  It's dangerous, talking on your phone WHILE driving can easily distract you,  you focus on the call/conversation on not on driving.

Pros:  If you get in an accident or are trapped in your car, you have easy access to call someone for help.. Also if you're lost, out of gas etc.  Sometimes it can be dangerous if you're by yourself in a bad area to get out of your car.
