What Are These Speakers Worth? (plus pic!)?

Question

Iv a set of Speakers at home that Im trying to find out what brand it is and how much there worth. Idont want to sell them but out of curiousity and stubborness cos my boyfriends trying to throw them out. (So if there worth something I can throw it at him!! lol )

All the details I can find on the actual speakers are as following

.A round logo with PYE in it.

.TYPE NO. LSE 10

.ASSY NO. AJ 02462

.IMPEDANCE 8 OHMS

,A small, rectangular black sticker with 022413 in it.

The second speaker has a silver sticker with

.MODEL 5754

.IMPEDANCE 8 OHMS

And the same black sticker as the first but with 051282 in it.

As I said before Im really curious as to what that actually are so any help will be definitly rewarded!!!

Well yes they were made by ye and arent woth much nowadays BUT they might be worth something to a collector of older speakers. i would be willing to pay at least 50 bucks for both those myself. i wouldnt throw them out actually because i might not be the only one who would want them. sell them at a tag sale or something. interesting find :) oh and as long as they work they are not useless. i would need to know more of the specs though before i decide if they are truly good or not though.

Pye were manufacturers of low quality electrical goods, their products weren't worth anything when new.

Pye were a British electronics manufacturer founded in 1896.  Pye was bought out by Philips in 1976.  Apart from speakers, they also made radios, TVs, calculators, music centres, etc.  A subsidiary, The Pye Recording Company produced records and cassettes from the 1950's to the 1970's.

As a previous answer states, Pye products were not particularly well regarded or expensive, even when new.

They are not collectible or desirable these days.  Those speakers would be worth about a fiver, if you are very lucky.
