Keep your shooting arm in a right angle, parallel to the floor.

Keep your off-hand/guiding hand flat on the side of the ball and don't move it in any way when shooting. It is strictly there to keep the ball straight.

Bend/flex your knees. Jump. This gives you good shooting power.

Follow through after your shot. Pretend your hand is reaching into the rim when the shot is released.

And keep your eyes on the basket.
