I know all will be involved to some extent. But what Army jobs will be the biggest players on such a mission.

  1. Join the Peace Corps, you dont have to go with a gun to help people.

  2. Most likely civil affairs. I am not sure which MOS it is but a recruiter would. Also it is possible Army Engineers would go to help rebuild. You would also have signal units to provide communications, mainly 25S, 25B, etc.

  3. Engineer Corps, Telecommunications Systems, Information Operations, Military Police, Civil Affairs, Public Affairs, Judge Advocate General, Foreign Area Officer, Chaplain Branch, Medical Department Branches, Chemical Branch, Logistics FA, and probably some more I haven't found.

  4. That is US Air Force personnel. Army doesn't have C-17's

  5. bush said he was sending air force and navy, not army. army is already busy enough where as navy and air force aren't.

  6. Military Police, Aviation, Infantry

  7. If it were to be strictly a humanitarian operation, it would most likely be the Marine Corps not the Army. Usually Marines are the ones that deal with such aid due to the strategic services of the Navy because of the expeditionary capability .  Marines had forefronted almost every humanitarian aid that US has been involved with. No certain job field but the Marines aboard a MEU(SOC)  will be the ones to be called on. Marines don't just train for combat but for humanitarian crises that arise, it is one of MEU's yearly certifications for Special Operations Qualifcation. I been on a humantarian operation years ago in East Timor to help stampen famine, earned my Humantarian Medal.
