If there is none, are fake lying Christians trying to inflict their warped, degenerate version on God on the rest of us?

  1. or are abortionist inflicting theit warped views on life. thou shalt not murder is one of the commandments and thats what abortion is. its takeing the life of an unborn child.

  2. http://www.dougbrittonbooks.com/onlinebi...

^^That website gives a fairly broken down explanation and bible passages.

God view the fetus as a living person therefore aborting the fetus is killing a living person. "Thou shalt not murder".

  3. Exodus 20- 10 commandments: Don't murder.

  4. idk, are you talking about the Catholic bible or the christian, but they were right for the catholic bible, one of the ten 10 commandments is 'tho shall not kill', and catholics consider as soon as the childs consieved it's a person w/ a soul, but i think the christains think the same but i'm not sure, cause i know a few christians who would get an abortion if needed.

  5. every religion including athiests force their religion down your throat

  6. Exodus 20- 10 commandments: Don't murder.

  7. I'd love to know too.  Because according to what I have learned, none does.

Instead, the teachings of Thomas Aquinas condemn men spilling their seed without seeking a partner (masturbation) and women blocking impregnation (abortion today, as well as birth control)).  This was because TA thought that babies were fully formed in sperm and they just went into the woman to grow larger.  TA is a Catholic saint, so I always get annoyed when Christians (Protestants) use him since they rejected Catholic teaching and sainthood (hence the name Protestant) - I'm a Catholic, but I don't trust TA on this.

Today we know that a baby is not fully formed in a man's sperm, hence shouldn't this Catholic teaching be discounted?

Some Christians argue that thou shall not kill bans abortion, but then we get into the what-is-life debate.  And on that debate, use of TA by a Christian is still not really accurate.  No one has a problem with bathing (destroying viable skin cells) so why is destroying a cluster of cells in utero killing life?  Ahhh the mysteries of religious teachings.

  8. thou shall not kill

  9. It's not addressed. Medical science has proven that fetuses under a certain month aren't livingly conscious. Do you remember being in the womb when you were 2 weeks old? You didn't have a nervous system then or a brain, so, you had no consciousness whatsoever. But here's my favorite Bible quote as listed below. I am a Christian, but I consider anyone who literally interprets the Bible or follows every verse to be a fundamentalist, ignorant of the religion's history.

13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, 14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: 16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; 17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; 19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the w***e in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

    Deuteronomy 22:13-21

  10. interesting question.. I am certain there wasnt abortion to write about back then.. I think  this religious condemnation is an aggreagious affront to womankind by men who want to control our bodies and ourselves. These hypocrites probably dont live moral lives and are busy judging other people they dont know anything about.

I say to each his own and just dont talk about it with others..

  11. I'm pretty sure somone who is going to answer this with any religious zeal is going to quote a verse condemning murder. It is a sensitive subject. If anyone, pro-life, does answer your question  I would like them to also address the embryonic stem cells and how most devoute christians are against using stem cells to save one's life.

  12. One of the ten commandments is You shall not murder.

Psalms 139:13-16 For you created me in my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. (14) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (15) My frame was not hidden from you when I was in that secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, (16) your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Jeremiah 1:4-5 The word of the LORD came to me saying, (5) "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...."

Exodus 23:7 [The LORD said] "... do not put an innocent... person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty."

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (16) Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple, and that God's Spirit lives in you? (17) If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (19) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own: (20) you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Proverbs 6:16-17 (16) There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: (17) ...[one of which is] hands that shed innocent blood....

No matter what you may be feeling, no matter how lonely you are, no matter how confused you are, and no matter how frightened you are, there is a God to whom you can turn for answers and comfort.

  13. In Exodus it says "Thou shalt not kill"

  14. Thou Shalt Not Kill

  15. What a joke!

The Old Testament was written by Jews ; and, Jews today still don't forbid abortion!

Just a bunch of revisionist fundamentalist zealots who want to control other women's bodies.  These folks will talk about their "private interpretations" of the Old Testament, but simply do a Google search for the word, "abortion,." or even the word, "fetus."

Those word aren't even contained in either Testament!

So, move on to the next hysterical, inflammatory topic......

  16. Exodus 20:13 "You shall not murder."

Exodus 21:12 "He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death."

Psalm 51:5 "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me."

  17. Not what you might think. Apparently God is just fine with killing fetuses.

The Bible places no value on fetuses or infants less than one month old:

And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. -- Leviticus 27:6

Fetuses and infants less than one month old are not considered persons.

Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD. -- Numbers 3:15-16

God sometimes approves of killing fetuses:

And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. -- Numbers 31:15-17

(Some of the non-virgin women must have been pregnant. They would have been killed along with their unborn fetuses.)

Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry b*****s. -- Hosea 9:14

Yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. -- Hosea 9:16

Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. -- Hosea 13:16

God sometimes kills newborn babies to punish their parents:

Because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die. -- 2 Samuel 12:14

God sometimes causes abortions by cursing unfaithful wives:

The priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell. And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. ...

And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. -- Numbers 5:21-21, 27-28

God's law sometimes requires the execution (by burning to death) of pregnant women:

Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. -- Genesis 38:24

  18. The first commandmant.  Thou shalt not murder.  But legally, murder is different from killing.  Killing is not only moral but justified.  We go to war and kill not murder. In genesis, I think, there mentions time when got breaths life into

Adam.  This suggests that according to God, that spiritual life begins at the second trimester.  So shouldn't abortions during the first trimeser be moral?

Most of your antiabortion activists are Protestants.  They don't believe that every sperm is sacred like the Catholics do.  According to the eyes of God, using a condom is just as much a sin as killing an unborn.

In terms of business ethics, Doctors, under the Hypotratic Oath, can not perform abortions.  Why?  A sick baby born to rich parents become good paying customers.  Healthcare in the times of the old Greek Guilds were business, not the altruistic calling of today.  Read the oath for yourself, you will be shocked that it is a business oath and a pledge of loyalty to other physicians, rather than an oath to the client.
