You can even visit the distillary in London, see above link for details.

  2. Probably a suppermarkets own brand is a safe bet

  3. Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire.

  4. Beafeater, Gordons, Waitrose (most supermarket brands are OK).  To the person who said Bombay Sapphire, it is much more expensive than Gordons.  It also makes a difference on the brand of tonic added.

  5. I would have to go with Gordon's also.  Many bars use it as their well drink and it makes a pretty acceptable G&T.

  6. Gordon's

  7. seagrams

  8. Gin is one of the difficult ones cheap gin is awful usually, so I get lots of Bombay Sapphire when its on offer.

5 O Clock gin is my favorite if you are mixing. If you are trying to drink it straight or martini style I would recommend Gilbeys.
