  1. what kind of riding you want to do?  4 wheelers are good for crossing streams and over logs and just cruising along.  You need a big engine for power.  400cc or better though a 250cc will work too.   trail riding and jumps you might want a 2 wheeler.

Buy the biggest 4 wheeler you can afford.  They are like cars but flip easier at higher speeds.  They are fun machines for sure.  look at youtube vides of 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers and then decide which you want.   how many cc's?   as many as you can afford.

  2. I am your size and i ride a predator 500cc It is a lot of machine sometimes, and it can get hairy quickly. however it is one of the funnest machines i have rode. It goes plenty enough (almost 80 top speed) it has loads of power and it is tossable, im not worried about wheeling it over.

I would recommend that you look at the 400CC's out there and build your skill and confidence

  3. i am 14 and i just traded in my 2 stroke ktm 125 dirtbike that easily did 90 but and I traded it in for a 1999 400ex with tons of aftermarket plus there the cheapest atvs

  4. i AGREE with scott w

    dont buy anything chinese! NEVER!!!

they are made terribly im not talkin c**p i mean terrible, you are 14 unless your parents spare you $3000 or more u cannot get anything good, dont buy chinese they are very cheap dangarous ul regret it 4 the rest badly

Get something like a 150cc-200cc if you can afford it, a 400cc is out of the option for your age too much to handle

    gd luck

  5. it all really depends, on an atv, it is completely different than a dirtbike. you really need the power on an atv, i would suggest maybe a 400cc, but it is also dependent on riding ability, I assume by the question, that you have never riden before. I also suggest going to your local powersports dealership and sitting on some. I also suggest getting a dirtbike instead, I think they are more fun, but its really up to you. Sit on some dirtbikes while you are there. And be sure not to buy a chinese knockoff. Please dont. They are so crappy. Either a honda, yamaha, you know the drill. Don't buy a no name
