What COLOR SHOULD I PAINT MY ROOM????

Question

i have desided i want this color bed but what color should i paint my walls? i want somthing different but cute. this is a teen girls room here is the bed

i have sea green and lavender in one of our bedrooms.  everyone always loves that room.  you could combine the two colors with a stencil pattern of the 2 colors [a flower maybe]  or a wallpaper or border on a wall or two.  have fun!

You could do a complimentary color across the color wheel like a cranberry and the bed will pop off the walls. But that tends to be heavy. You can look at paint chips near the same color as the bed and the room will appear bigger because the bed will blend with the walls. Or you can do a darker green, which I would do and use a pop of cranberyy for accent.

For this bed, any deep color will look great (especially red)!

I would either do a deep cranberry red or cerulean blue.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think it would look good if you paint your room "grape harvest" (# 6285). I think it will make the green bed pop.
