What Cabinets look best with Butcher Block Counters?

If I go with a butcher block counter what wood should I use and what color cabinets. I can't find many pictures of butcherblocks except in islands. I like the dark walnut top? or a natural maple top?

I'd go with natural maple top and the cabinets can be maple with the glass windows.  That would look nice.
