What California State School for Econ. Degree?

Hey guys. So anyone who has an econ degree, i really value your opinion. I'm trying to figure out what's the best CSU to transfer to after a Community College (Santa Rosa Junior College) for an Economics degree. So far I have been planning on majoring in business marketing, but I think that Econ is my true calling and strenth. What CSU should I transfer to? I'm looking for a school that will look great on a resume...so far I've been thinking that Cal Poly SLO is the best CSU, but I want to come out of college with some great job offers, and be ranked pretty high among all econ majors. I'm pretty smart, and have a good GPA, so I just want to know what will be the best CSU for me and my future. Thanks in advance! Please lend me all the information and experience you can give!!!!!

SLO is one of the best schools in the state. The rest are held in about the same level of moderate esteem except maybe Chico which is seen as a pure party school.

My daughter was accepted for Econ at San Francisco State. She applied there because San Francisco is such a great place to live. She ended up though going to a private school in Pittsburgh.

And Econ grads tend to make more money. But then, there is some real math involved in getting an Econ degree.

I am working on my post-graduate single subject teaching credential at CSU Fresno and also earned my BA in mathematics at CSU Fresno so this answer may not come as much of a surprise.

CSU Fresno has an excellent business school and will finish construction this January on the finest Library in the CSU system!! I would definitely check out the website www.csufresno.edu to get more info.

CSU Fresno is good. My cousin got his Econ degree from there. He liked the central location in the state and was able to travel to some cool places when he wasnt too busy with school. he liked the diverse student population and the local community hugely supports fsu.
