What Callaway Big Bertha Heavenwood hybrid is easier to hit, the 20 degree 3H or the 23 degree 4H?\

I am a low handicapper, average for 9 holes is usually a 37-40 on a par 70 course. I know how to hit the irons, I have hit hybrids, and like the feel and distance of them better.

I am looking at buying one of these clubs, which Big Bertha Heavenwood hybrid is easier to hit from the FAIRWAY and the TEE?

Distances?

I am an average length hitter from the tee and am 14, 5'7'', and 130 pounds.

  1. 23 degree 4w is easier. First, it has more loft that gives you more backspin so there is less sidespin(draw and fade).Second, the shaft is shorter so it is easier to handle

  2. It really depends on your swing and what you are comfortable with. The swing will really determine your comfortability. I am 5, 11.5'' basically 6 foot. The shorter clubs have been more of a challenge for me and i got comfortable with longer clubs faster because i didn't have to get down as much. So try these things out see which works better for you and if you develop problems get someone to look at your swing with it.

  3. Usually the 23 degree 4H is easier to hit. But I suggest you choose the comfortable one. I like long shaft. I will choose 20 degree 3H
