What Came First, The Chicken Or A Egg?

I Have Always Wanted To Know The Answer To This Question, Can Anyone Help Me?

I think it was the chicken,because when God made all the animals,the chicken had to have come first,because why would He just make an egg that wouldn't be able to hatch.It wouldn't be able to hatch because for eggs to hatch the hen has to sit on the egg for weeks until it hatches!
