the egg duh

It was a genetic mutation in the development of another bird's egg, and the result was a "chicken egg."

Over time it adapted to the environment and now we have chickens... to eat...

And in 1000 years we shall have chickencows!?!

Here's my theory...I think the chicken is the result of an evolutionary mutation.

A dinosaur had to of laid the mutated egg.
