What Can Be Done About Deep Sea Pollution?

I'm having trouble finding information about what can be done to combat deep sea pollution. Any ideas? Is it just that there isn't enough research out there? Do we apply the same rules to deep sea pollution as we do to regular sea pollution? Is there a difference? Looking forward to you input!

  1. Government from the country which the coast is located must monitor well.. They must prevent any litter dumping activities in the sea.. They also must give heavy penalties to the offenders..

  2. Nothing to worry because every thing go to the sea.  So this is natural and nature to what it wants.  Otherwise if some thing of any use then human being is there and they will search it out.

  3. Pollution can't reach the deep sea, don't worry about it.

  4. Unlike what the others say, there is such thing as deep sea pollution. A lot of nuclear waste is put in a steel drum and sealed. They ship it out to the see and dump it there. I fear the ramifications of this. The steel drums will eventually corrode. This will be scary. Imagine getting your water from a well. You use it to shower your kids, clean your dishes and of course for drinking. Now, throw in 10ml worth of nuclear waste. Would you still drink that water? Would you like to find out how that will affect your body?

To fight it, we will need a government with leaders like Al Gore. Greenpeace has sent teams to stop this large vessels from dumping this waste. I saw this on TV several years back.  Media can help on the awareness. It would be great if we had an Environmental Interpol with funds, know-how and passion to make our planet a healthy place to live in.
