What Can Doctors Do For My Nipple?

well i've had this for like a year now, someone gave me a nipple twister really hard and the next day it had a massive lump under it and it really sticks out and looks big, this is really embarissing and is effecting my life, i know it isn't breast cancer because the doctor said so but i was embarissed to tell him what happened but i'm going to go back and tell them and hopefully they can do something about it. What can they do?

It is probably gynecomastia...only cure is surgury or just waiting it out.
