Question:

What Can I Bring For Lunch?

School is starting, and IDK what to bring to lunch. Here's the problems:

My school doesn't serve lunch. I have to bring my own.

My top fave food is Noodles (pasta), but it doesn't stay heated.

Same problem with Chicken nuggets.

I like Fried Eggs but can't bring that.

HATE salad & PB&J.

McDonalds is fatening and it gets cold.

I bring an apple & yogurt, or grapes & pudding, and a drink, but what can be my main meal? Any suggestions? Thanks...

  1. uhh a sandwich.. or a roll.

umm get those noodles in a cup.. where all you need is hot water.. im sure you can get hot water form somewhere in your school.. i usually go to the cookign room.

  2. You can bring whatever you want - pasta (without too much sauce), chicken nuggets, what have you. They can still remain heated as long as it's in a stainless steel container/lunch box. You can also wrap the food first in aluminum foil before putting it in, or in a microwavable container so that you can reheat it when it's lunch break already.

If all else fails, you can always stick to sandwiches. You can vary the fillings once in a while - lettuce with tomato, avocado, alfalfa sprouts, tofu, etc. spread some salad dressing and it's good to go. Just be creative! :D

  3. it seems like a sandwich is your best bet, no appliances at your school? a microwave or something?

  4. a sandwich!!!

  5. Have you ever had a cheese steak made with deer meat? MMMM-MMMM-MMMMMMMMM is that yummy! It's almost deer season so polish the rifle and get your *** to the woods and bag yourself a nice buck! You'll have enough lunches for the entire school; year.

  6. wtf kinda vegetarian hates salad o_0

maybe you should reconsider being one..have a....cheese sandwich

  7. Find cold cuts that you like and make yourself a fresh sandwich to bring in the morning.

  8. sandwitch and paratha roll in foil

  9. Question for you... if you can't heat things up... can you keep things cold??  Food safety kind of limits a lot of your options.  Your additional details say vegetarian so I'm going to say roast some veggies with oil, salt and pepper... toss them together with some pasta ... play around with spices and herbs to get different flavors with your pasta.  Sandwiches seem like a good bet for you, use some of those roasted veggies on some fresh whole grain bread.
