Question:

What Can I Do With An Associate's Degree?

I graduated from Remington College in Louisiana with an Associate's degree. Although I have this degree, I don't have an idea about what to do with it. I think I need more training to create and run a successful business; but unfortunately for me, I could not continue at the same school in order to receive a Bachelor's degree. Any suggestions? What importance is there to an Associate's degree and how can I use it successfully?

  1. I have an AAS degree in Business.  It has kept me employed with income over $40,000 for a few years now.  Experience helps too.

  2. Does the school you graduated from have a jobs board? You could look there. They may also tell you where to look for a job. When you went to school for this, what did the description say about the kind of jobs you could get? This degree will probably transfer to a 4 year college. It is still better than the person with no education. It is a step ahead.

  3. What is your associates degree in?
