What Can I Do for Africa?

I'm doing a social project and i'm reasearching things I can do for Africa. What are some orginizations that could allow me to do something other than just donate (more hands on).

You can become a teacher. I think Africa lacks not only food but also education. You can teach  them whatever you know like languages, science, math, techonology,etc. They might help them a lot. That all I can think of. ^^

Have you been to kiva.org?

You could also look for groups that sell coffee, chocolate, and crafts from Africa more or less directly. In this way, the real farmers, harvesters and workers get more for their money. You could have your own version of a Tupperware party by taking orders for items and submitting them to the group.

Join the peace corps,  be a mercenary and shoot poachers in wildlife preserves, get rid of Robert Mugabe, find a cure for AIDS.
