I have placed an order through teletronics3g.com to buy Nokia N96 and the only option I had is to pay through western union. I made the payment and the people in charge called me and told me that I need to buy at least 3 units and get 2 units free. Their emails and website doesn't mandate to buy 3 units at least, but any how I made the payment and they called me back again to tell me that they made a mistake and shipped 10 units instead of five and I have to pay for 3 more units. I refused and told them I am going to report this to UK authorities because this is where their address and telephone numbers and they rudely said I can complaint all I want but I am not receiving the units I paid for. Honestly I am frustrated and don't what know to do next, I hope you'll be able to help me out.

  1. Unfortunately, once you send payment via Western Union, its very very tough to get it back - almost impossible. If you have their physical address, perhaps you can report it to the UK embassy in Manila (im presuming you're in the philippines because we're on yahoo philippines)

Their website looks legitimate, but it does say that :

But Note that our MOQ is 8 Units.

    on this page: http://teletronics3g.com/nokia-n96-16gb-...

You noted in your question that they shipped out 10 units by mistake ... how can they make you pay for more, if its already been shipped out? that means you should get it already, without having to pay more.

  2. Unfortunatly you got scammed.

It all depends where this company is registered, but you could file a complaint with the BBB.

To be honest with you I doubt you'll get your money back, but at least you can prevent others from being scammed if you file a formal complaint.
