What Can I do to my bedroom?

Okay so I recently moved to the basement,and theres some serious problems.

I'd like to know what i can do to fix them

There are a lot of pipes,and a vent thing.

  1. WOW you dont ask too much in one question ;).  Pipes and vents...if you like the loft feel, polish them and leave them.  If not, some drywall can be put up over them (dont cover up important access points).  For the ceiling, try a suspended tile ceiling kit (like you see in offices and schools), or leave them.  The bumps in the wall might be an indicator of water damage (it will be significantly more brittle than the surrounding wall if so).  Fix that if you need too.  Then take a whole bunch of Spackle and a trowel and start your own custom texture.  Bumps solved.  Lots of Work, good luck.
