I know you can use tea leaves but is there anything else I can put in a tea ball? Preferably things that won't kill me or make me sick.

  1. tea leaves

  2. You can get all sorts of dried herbs and flowers at a health foods store.  Things like dried mint leaves, dried lavender flowers, chamomile, and many others make good teas.  Once you find one you really like, go to the nursery and buy plants or seeds, and grow your own.

  3. chamomile( flowers.).................,rose hips,(buds when rose goes to seed)......................lavender (buds),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,bee balm (flowers and leaves)..................Marjoram (flowers and leaves) Jasmine(flowers).................cilantr... Thyme (flowers and leaves)...............Violets (flowers and leaves) rosemary(leaves).......mint (leaves)

If you are an avid herbal tea drinker and you have room...try planting a tea garden...most are extremely easy to grow, mint can be invasive so keep in check.better yet grow it in a container.

  4. roasted barley with chaff

    really really yum
