  1. Stop farting!

  2. Global Warming doesn't exist..lots of evidence to proove it doesn't. I'm not going to explain now-

As for the theory of Global Warming, nothing. It's already happened, excess CO2 and pollution is all over the atmosphere

Were doomed and the skies will turn black and it'll rain fireballs.

  3. Nothing we can do effects long term climate. Your report will be easy to write.

"Humans do not have any measurable effect on climate. We can not make it rain, nor can we raise global temperatures. The earth warms and cools on a specific cycle. We are just lucky enough to live during a very mild climate.

    Review the graphs for proof.

  4. If by "we" you mean you and me, or all the people on Y!A, the answer is not a lot.  Global warming is occurring as a result of a build up of carbon gasses in the atmosphere.  Most of these are of animal origin.  Changing your lamp bulbs is a futile gesture.

Over the past 2,000 years, humans have cut down about two-thirds of the world's trees.  If these were replaced, the carbon in the atmosphere would be captured and global warming reversed.  However, this would require global cooperation on an unprecedented scale and cost nearly as much as America's wars in the Middle East.

  5. I don't think we can do nothing about global warming, what is the cause of it. ' GREED ' America, China, Japan, can I go on ?  Germany, Italy, etc, etc, etc.

  6. very little if any

  7. Lots of small things - like stop using plastic bags, using the car as less as possible (and using bikes or our own two feet instead), use recycled paper, etc. Small things, but in the long one amount to big things.

  8. Dont leav all the lights on in the house( dont use so much electricity) dont cut down trees, recycle,  cars/gas makes global warming,  dont burn stuff(burning anything makes it)  dont littter thatts also one , hairsparay, air sanitizers.all these release a chemical that can make global warming accure.

  9. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit deforestation.

  10. You could do small things like, not using a tumble dryer. Carpooling to work or taking public transport, don't drive a gas guzzler, recycle, use solar/wind power. The list could go on & on.

Maybe when you go to the supermarket. Only get what is local, as everything else has to be either trucked or flown in. And that would help with the CO2.

  11. Just be sensible about how you live and be careful about how you live......dont be embarrassed to help

  12. 1. change your thermostat to closer to the actual temperature

    2. don't use your gas car when you have another choice

    3. use alternate fuels

  13. 3% of global warming is made by man. FACT. Whats the point? Global warming is happening on Mars, Jupiter and Saturn too. FACT. The sun is getting warmer, maybe thats the reason its getting hotter? If you think about it we just came out of last ice age, wouldn't you expect it to get hotter? Global warming is used by goverments to scare us into giving them more rights + money maybe? lol just thought id enlighten you a little :P xx

  14. over population is the greatest threat to the planet

  15. nothing because its not real.

  16. I would focus the report on how we can adapt to global warming rather than stop it.   As pointed out man is only responsible for around 3% of greenhouse gases. Actually, other explanations that focus on solar activity seem more credible. Our Earth has gone through many changes over billions of years. Only the hubris of man would think he/she is responsible or capable of changing Earth's natural course.  Let's focus our efforts to adapting to live on a dynamic living planet.

  17. stop using cars stop littering

good luk on ur project :-)

  18. we are doing now ,but too late should have started ten years ago, ice melting , floods, 5c too hot, too late

  19. NOT A THING!!!!  Get rid of CO2 results in killing plants, cut down on emissions, makes it hotter....  IE: For three days after 9 11, we were fast approaching winter and all planes were grounded in the United States, yet, we averaged one degree hotter, each day for those three days.....

  20. Global warming is caused by the SUN.  So what are our options?

We can build a giant missile and blow up the sun.

We can build a giant umbrella and shade the earth.

We can hook rockets to earth and blast ourselves our of solar orbit.

In other words.. there is nothing realistic we can do to stop it.

  21. Nothing, get ready.

  22. Nothing, You might as well get used to it.

  23. Nothing, global warming is a myth. It only exists as part of a cycle every few thousand years. Nothing we do can stop it, and in another thousand years or so, it will start to get colder again.

  24. probally use air purifiers to help get rid of stuff in the air and use electric cars or cars that dont create as much smog

  25. Reduce your carbon footprint.

Buy local produce, less fuel used in transporting etc. set your central heating a couple of degrees cooler. Walk instead of drive. Plant trees etc.

To reduce carbon in the atmosphere it must be trapped into plant materials etc. All of the carbon being used in the form of oil or coal was at one point plant life. Return it to that state faster than we create more carbon and theory says it should work, however it's not quite that simple......

As for the theory of the sun getting hotter; it is true but it will take about 500 000 000 years for the sun to get so hot as to make the earth inhabitable. Look at the Planet Mercury. It is the closest to the Sun and yet the temperature on the shaded side is well below the freezing point of water. Venus has a runaway greenhouse effect, even on the shaded side.

  26. What we are doing is pretending that it doesn't exist... so if that works... then we should continue until we all kill ourselves !  Why mess with something that works in the eyes of the Republican party ???

  27. We have now had 10 years of colder or stable temperatures

    http://www.dailytech.com/Temperature+Mon...

These measurements have been made by the official body that monitors our atmosphere, not GW sceptics or oil industry people.

This decade long cooling has taken place despite the continuing increase in CO2 levels, and indicates that the role of CO2 in our climate has been substantially overestimated.

The computer models that predict disastrous warming in 20 - 50 years failed to predict this 10 year period of cooling, and are therefore not to be relied upon.

Climate change is a fundamental part of how our planet works and it is nonsense to think we can put a stop to it. What we can do is to take Al Gore type hysterical propaganda with a very large pinch of salt.

The most serious danger to our environment is the exponential increase in the human population, so anyone with a genuine interest in the health of our planet should be campaigning for this issue to be addressed by the people in power

  28. Make money from it.  That's the whole idea.

  29. we can find a way to drive cars and not produce so much exhaust. like drive more cars that run  on used cooking oil. we have plenty of it, we may as well use it. dont use hairspray or any thing in a aerosal can. get rid of all the smoke stacks that factories use.dont burn garbage. we cant do anything to reverse it, but we can do things to slow it down or stop it altogether

  30. One thing is to educate people.  Just look at the level of ignorance and confusion from some of the people that have answered your question, and you'll see that education is sorely needed.

Second, we should all reduce unnecessary waste of energy usage.  Do we really need to drive a 3 ton vehicle to haul a 150 lb person to the store just to buy milk?  That kind of waste made sense when we were ignorant of global warming and thought there was unlimited cheap oil.  Simple conservation steps (higher fuel economy in next generation cars, turn off unnecessary lights, more efficiently heated and insulated homes and businesses) can have a significant effect on reducing emissions.

Third, we need to invest seriously in developing the promising clean technologies.  It will take 30 - 50 years to make a significant alteration to how we generate our electricity (given the lifetime of facilities and the cost of new ones).  So the time to start is now.

  31. Cool I did a presentation on global warming! Here are few points we can do to help:

*Taking a shower instead of a bath

*Take a bus, a bike or even walk to school if possible.

*Do your own recycling system at home instead of throwing into the bin.

*Using biodegradable bags when doing your shopping.

*Shutting electricity when you are not using it. E.g. lights, TV, computer e.t.c.

*Buy products that help save the environment rather than waste it e.g. food grown in proper sunlight.

    *Collect rainwater for plants e.t.c.

    *Carpooling

These are just a few of many ways to help stop global warming. Look at my source for more. I hope you successfully complete your project, and if you found my information useful, please vote me as best answer :)
