What Cheap energy will keep Grandma from freezing this winter?

Old people freeze to death every winter because can`t afford heating bill

let her move in with you; then you only have to pay your utilities.

Or go to a local church and get them to help her with her heating bill.

My grandma had to do that a few times.(And they were glad to help.)

I don't think there are any other cheap ways to stay warm this winter.

Gas prices are high. Running space heaters are going to run the bill sky high.

Most service providers have a "level pay plan' so you can pay over the  year one bill and are refunded any unused energy. Also space heaters and electric blankets use less energy then full unit heaters. Insulation, solar windows (on apartments) can increase the amount of sun energy to keep the rooms over all warmer then outdoors. "gramma" could also use wool slippers, flannel jammies, a robe and radiant heat.

the companies should just forgive part of the bill I think. Or they do have energy assistant programs to help out , check with your local utility company. buy and electric space heater. Have granny stay with you during the coldest months.
