Drama Or Choir ?

Im going to grade 8 this term and this is my last year in this school.Im not a athletic person so im not going for sports. But last year i was in drama but i found it difficult because i have a speech disfluency (aka. studdering) So i was mainly behind the scenes. But choir.. i can kinda sing and i got in last year but last year i had to give it up because drama & choir were on the same days at the same time. I think i can get into choir again. Drama anybody can get in. But all my friends are getting in drama but none will get in choir with me if i do. soo.. i may not enjoy choir without any friends with me. Also, there are some days where i may need a ride with someone.. that may be a issue if i dont have a real friend in there.

I NEED DESPERATE ADVICE !

  1. okaay.

well if you really like drama then you should go for it,

you will maybe get over your speech problems.

and you will get to hang out with your frieends

but if you want to do choir you will get to meet knew people.

    and that would be awsome.

well good luck with what you pickk.

  2. drama, much better...

  3. well depending on you personallity and what you like to do but if your worried about studdering then go techie behind the sceans help build sets or lights you dont always have to act

  4. I think both would be fun!!! I would choose choir b/c I like to sing more than dramatize. Which one do u like better?

  5. well think about which one u will enjoy most, even if your friendsd don't join. Will it be more fun chillin behind the scenes with your friends, or singing without. btw you can make more friends at the same time.

  6. DRAMMMA!!!! ♥M♥

  7. based on what u said that u stutter when u'r in a play, i think u should do drama and conquer that weakness. it'll be good for u i promise.

  8. I would go with choir, it seems like you would be happier being in it. Never block yourself from doing things that you love. Things will work out if you just have faith in what you want to do!

  9. Take drama and learn to control your stuttering.

Use the scripts and exercises to help you with it. You'll be great. Tell the teacher to give you an actual role so you can practice and learn to control your stuttering. They may be willing to help you. It's hard but you can do it. I hope you have a great drama teacher, it'll make it easier. Some teachers don't care about you, so they'll give you what they think you can do and not what you wanna do (this has happened to me before).

If you don't feel like going through that, go to choir and meet new people. I'm sure you'll be able to make new friends. It'll be fun. Can you take the bus on those days? That's what I did.

  10. if you enjoy choir more, than try to make it work...

Then again drama seems like you would have more fun....  and maybe it would be really good to get on stage and conquer it :D

  11. Learn To Be More Confident, And Take Drama, Maybe Your Friends Can Help You With Your Speech Disfluency.

  12. It sounds like you're more into choir. If you aren't going to enjoy drama, don't join. As for the friend and the ride issues, this may give you a chance to create new friends. Also, if drama and choir are at the same time, ride with one of your friends that is in drama class, and then you each go to your seprate classes, when the classes are over, ride back. simple, right? And, are their any other classes that you are interested in? Can you take those classes instead?

  13. I was inchior in school 4th - 9th grade i loved it and pluys we had got to go on great trips! I think you should go for the chior! You'll appreciate it in the long run I PROMISE!!! Hope I coukld help Good Luck
